7-17-02 Wow! I have not updated for a really long time!!! I promise I will update more often now that it is summer. I finished the dresses page and I hope to add a celtic music section. Oh, guess what? I'm getting a solo dress!! Woo Hoo! I can't wait. When I get it I'll try to post a picture.

1-27-02 Today I competed in Fresno Feis, which was really fun. I went with my mom, my friend Anna and her mom. We drove up yesterday and on the way Anna's mom had to stop at a McDonald's to review this new device her company helped develop. It's called pay by touch and is really cool. But on to the feis. We got the the hotel, which wasn't all that great but we dealed. We had dinner, then Anna and I went to check out a ceili the feis people were putting on-it wasn't great, so we went up to our room to practice. Then my dance teacher come by and spent an hour working with us. Then her son, Kevin, came by and said "Mom, you said you'd be 10 mintutes..." So our teacher had to abandon us. So we went to the pool (it was freezing!!) So we stayed in the hot tub and met some really nice Prelim. dancers. After that we went to bed. The next day, we woke up at 6:30!!! Had breakfast and then went down to the ballroom. I streched and hung out with my Irish dancing friends. Finally it was time for reels. Odd enough since the feis was so tinny, they did all reels, all age levels, then moved on to the next dance. But back to reels. I only had one other person competing against me, and it was my friend Charlotte! I ended up taking 1st, but it didn't count for anything. My other dances were good, and I placed 4 times. AND moved up to novice in my slip jig!!!! My slip jig special, was a complete joke! They had all levels competing from beginner 1 to prizewinner. It had about 50 people! Also I ended up falling but I continued dancing. But Alas I did not place. Oh well. Over all I had a great time and I can not wait for Feis San Fransico!
